This South Woodford garden was already well set up for entertaining, with neat artificial lawn, a built-in sofa along the wall, and a sheltered spot for guests. What it lacked was somewhere proper to cook, which is exactly what the Cedar Elevate kitchen was brought in to provide. Set against the white render of the garden wall, the natural cedar gives it a warm, considered feel rather than looking like an addition.

The homeowners wanted to cook and entertain properly outdoors, not just manage the odd barbecue, so the kitchen was fitted with a gas BBQ, a sink and an under-counter fridge, everything needed to put a meal together without going back and forth to the kitchen indoors. Open it up and the canopy lifts smoothly on gas struts to reveal the full setup; close it down and it tucks away neatly, protected from the weather. It arrived pre-built and was craned straight into place, so the rest of the garden stayed untouched, just with one excellent new addition.
