Our customer in Watford approached us with a clear vision: to create a bespoke, weather-proof outdoor entertaining space just in time for an upcoming family wedding.
As a keen outdoor cook, they wanted a feature-packed setup that would allow them to host large gatherings seamlessly throughout every season. To bring their vision to life, we built a 3 metre Cedar Pod complete with an integrated three-burner Beefeater gas BBQ, dedicated space for their own pizza oven, a built-in fridge, and a sink with a tap. We also added a custom drop-down table to provide versatile extra worktop space and a bar area, alongside ambient LED lighting, shelving, and a TV socket for full functionality day or night.
Logistics and installation were handled entirely by our in-house team to guarantee a smooth, hassle-free process. We transported the unit using our own Elevate delivery vehicle and utilised our specialist buggy system to carefully manoeuvre the pod through the property without damaging the surroundings. Once in position, the pod was securely anchored directly to the customer’s existing patio, creating a sturdy and permanent outdoor hub.
The final result fits seamlessly into the property, perfectly complementing the customer’s beautifully kept garden while delivering every extra feature requested. As our team noted following the installation, this project is a prime example of how much functionality can be seamlessly incorporated into a single pod without compromising on aesthetic appeal.
